Besides 2001 and 2009 the last two and a half decades have been pretty bleak. We have never really recovered from the likes of Brett Kenny, Peter Sterling, Eric Groth retiring.
Anyone think Parramatta will rise again and our Golden Years could be coming over the next decade?
Brad King Arthur - We now have a straight up coach who after turning our team around from wooden spooners, got us to the cusp of the finals in 2014. A coach that can really coach? We'll have to see in 2015, he certainly has a lot of the fans believing and he seems to have all the players on board. Building a real "culture", players taking accountability. Player playing to their strengths.
No real superstars, but a more balanced team, especially in the key positions Peats, Sandow and Hoppa its a potentially dynamic spine, best thing is that they are all still young.
Real punch and creativity in our backs Watmough, Mau, Kenny Edwards, David Gower each given there own time can really turn a game
Young team with lots potential all across the park. Semi, Junior Paulo, Pauli Pauli. Massive potential to Matterson.
More quality depth and players competing for spots especially up-front, which has been our biggest weakness for the past decade.
Watmough who is really leading, we've missed that since Hindmarsh and Burt retired.
Talk about Foran joining the Eels is getting stronger everyday, if he signs, he could be the key to making us a great team.
More importantly more stability in the front office.
2015 might be a bit of a transistion with a lot of new faces but I reckon we're finally on the up and up !
Im going to pick a player to have a standout 2015 - Chris Sandow. With Hayne now leaving its his oportunity now to see what he can bring to the table. We saw a glimpse of his form in 2014 which has been his best since joining the Blue & Gold. BA is now really bringing the best out of a confident halfback.
Notiable mention to Kenny Edwards and Hoppa to have a standout season for 2015.
Who will be your standout player 2015?
Anyone else thinks its our Parramatta's turn for its Golden Years

Well last time I declared a forthcoming dynasty I screwed up the club for years, so I'll leave the predictions for others.
Nice blog, though :-) I'm tipping Tepai to keep moving forward and make Origin.
Premiers 2015!!!!!!
Nice Blog CP, agree, a bloke like foran could really take us into top 4 material imo, if we can get him the sky is the limit imo.
Players to have a big year, Tepai, Junior, Semi, Sandow, Peats, Manu, Choc, Edwards, Champion if he can stay fit, the bloter is Robinson.
I think now BA has the competition in the team that if your not playing well you will not hold your place.
Lets hope Pauli can get his shit together, he has some serious potential, could be anything if he gets it together.
Lussick will struggle to make an impact again this year, i think he will struggle to get much 1st grade time and will be cut for 2016.
