Key points:
BA: Foz has been able to train more with the boys improve the attack

Foz: Thinks he won't have to worry about hamstring after Manly

BA: Confidence about line defence, doesn't mean we need to spend so long down there

Foz: Game plan to attack Raider's right side worked well

Foz: Pre-season work on defence showing up now

Foz: About going back to Brookie: "It will be good and looking forward to it".

  • I cant recall a press conference where so many questions were directed to the captain.

Usually they just get asked one token question so they don't look like a corpse sitting next to the coach.

Kieran, great player, great captain, great bloke.

  • I thought the same thing! Kieran definitely gives better quote than BA

    • Yeah I noticed that as well - it was wierd  - I thought BA might have snuck out for a ciggie or something!

Foz speaks really well - gives good answers and comes across as very calm, professional and in control. He actually listens intently to the questions being asked of him as well - a lot of them just stare blankly at the roof :)

    • Completely agree Kramerica.. He is a very astute leader..
  • Perfection . Please stay at parra fozzie !!!
  • BA obviously has great respect
Previous pressers when BA is not sure of a answer he refers the question to Foz - never happened with previous captains
    • Wile , seriously have any looked like foz ? He should be getting a red carpet not just a presser :-)
  • I am so impressed every time I hear Foran speak. He doesn't speak like he's been over-trained on how to speak to the media (ala Cherry Evans). His words are articulate but honest and seemingly without bravado or arrogance.

The way he's represented the club on and off the field has been amazing so far. An absolute professional.
    • Agree Capt, i actually find DCE comes across as a fairly fake type of bloke, similar expression and speech pattern to Michael Clarke the Cricketer, theres not a lot of genuine tone in there, part of the reason many struggle to embrace both, i really struggle with anybody that has that tone, its almost like they are reading you a pre scripted story.

Foz is a natural no pretences type of bloke, i get the feeling that what you see is what you get, theres no bullshit, he calls it how it is, he's not scripted and he has an aura of being his own man and not a follower, our on field and off field leadership this year shows in the way we are approaching games, its light and day compared to last year

  • dce and Clarke are both wankers.

"This is exactly what I reckon.
Parra won't automatically up my money without me playing well, so I'll get a few more bucks without performance scrutiny at the other place."
