Parramatta Leagues Avoids Return of Spagnolo

The Parramatta Leagues Club AGM has been held with the two board positions up for election being decided.

Current board members Sue Coleman and Greg Monaghan have been re-elected to the board, well ahead of former chairman Roy Spagnolo.

These results demonstrate the importance of the reforms led by Max Donnelly. The availability of electronic voting meant more than 2,700 ballots were submitted.

Full results and details are available at the link below.

  • Good result for the club. The members have spoken!!

    • Spags still has some support out there.

      • His was probably the most well known name on the ballot, given he's a former Chairman and has been well known in the media for a variety of colourful reasons. Still, no prizes for second.

  • It's fucken bullshit! If you're unavailable to attend in person at two o'clock on a Tuesday afternoon do you even give a shit about the club?!?

  • Oh no.

We missed out on the legendary Spags returning to save the club 😳

  • Thankful for that... the board needs some new life, but not from spags

  • 2700 votes from how many members? Maybe 10% of all League Club members. Shows how many give a crap about who actually runs the Leagues Club.

More football club members would care and vote (I think.)
