The Parramatta Eels have released a new logo, claiming that it better reflects the "modern" era. With the support of their major sponsor - Dyldam - the Eels will be using the new logo on all versions of their jersey for the rest of the year.
Scott Seward proudly displayed the new logo during a post match press conference last night.
"I've been discussing at length with Daniel (Anderson) our approach to recruitment, retention and managing the salary cap and we came to the conclusion that if we want to set appropriate expectations for the club, we had to change something. The logo seemed the most immediately recognisable representation of what the club is, and stands for."

Lol. Is that a sausage in your pants or are you excited to actually blog on 1EE?
You should see what happens when I'm excited.
And plenty of guys.
I paid premium for those seats and sat there with a sh!tty poncho that did it's best to keep the water out. Much like Parra's approach to defence at the end of the game.
At the time, I thought Parra played reasonably well and fell to the wayside at the end of the game. I've since been up this morning and watched the game on TV. I think we played quite well. We were unlucky not to get the win. Who ever thought Sandow or Robbo would miss so many conversions?
This doesn't change my thoughts on the rest of the season though. We'll win a few more. I'll keep turning up and hope that Manly do worse than us, Jamie Lyon has a horrific career ending injury, and Ricky Stuart stabs himself in the eye. I'll take any one of those three this year.
The logo is accurate.
I've tried changing my photo - really I have. But each time I've found a more suitable picture the site doesn't accept the upload. I've ensured the file size isn't too big. I've tried jpg, gif, tiff png, you name it. I've tried large, small and in-between pixel counts. All no good.
In all honesty though, I don't think there's a single lady on this site that finds my photo offensive. None have mentioned it to me and they've had plenty of time to do so - I've had this photo for at least 5 years.
I don't think most Parra fans are that precious to worry about these kind of things. If anyone was in any way on that kind of slant, the numerous "titty" photos others use would be more likely to bring on comment. I've seen the odd camel toe too.
If my photo offends you I apologise. Please let me know if it does.
