Parramatta fans inferiority complex

Every week we read blog after blog about

the officials are against us.

This commentator has a agenda against us.

Can we grow up and accept that some calls go against us just as much as it goes against the opposition.

For christ sake we had a player Knee someone and not get sent to the bin that is definitely a decision that went our way.

And the commentators were right to criticise the officials

Yes some commentators might not love the eels guess what only people who like the eels is an eels fan.

  • Couldn't agree more Offside.

I love the Eels but I like to try and keep my opinion unbiased, there are a few also on here that seem the same way.

Some of the whingers on here are ridiculous, who really cares what the commentators say? If it's that unbearable mute it!

I would expect better of some people on here.

    • Yep. The horrible calls balanced each other out. D brown should of been binned. A rooster player should of been binned for too many six agains. Sivos try should of been allowed. We could of maybe been penalised for 6 agains. So everything balanced out pretty well

      • Don't forget Taukiaho's spear tackle that in my eyes is more dangerous logically than Browns knee

    • Blocker needs to go on the man shake

  • I don't think anyone can reasonably argue the Brown issue. 3 weeks is a gift and he should have been sin binned.
I'll argue the Niukore one as I've done in other blogs. I don't think we can argue the refs were against us last night.
As for commentary I was at the game so didn't hear it but I had messages so from so many people (my Mum included) complaining about the commentating being one-sided. As I've said in another blog all the league commentators have their favourites and currently they are Roosters, Storm, Souths and Penrith. (Even Canberra get a lot of love from Fox commentators who keep talking up their 2021 chances).
Im happy for us to fly under the radar and just keep winning.

    • Well said.

    • I agree, let them talk the others up & keep us out of the papers. With the Brown it was a horrible hit, no winners leading with feet or knees. Niukore was in line for a hard hit, Teddy does his famous pass as he slides into a tackle, the guy dropped about 1/2 a foot, where do you end up if you give him 1/2 a foot, answer not on his chin.

        • Did Robo bet any fine for his tirade against the match officials as the NRL usually do with other coaches?

          • That's a fair question Tol, I don't believe he did. Regardless of him being right, some shocking decisions went against both sides, had it been any other coach they would have copped a fine.

  • The media today have gone completley insanely negative about a great win by out team. We are allowed to defend ourselves.
