Parramatta face battle to keep star Halfback

So now the Roosters and Storm are looking at Moses. I am not concerned. Moses never lets his negotiations get out to media and always signs with pretty much no notice of it. I think Moses will sign after the GF, he wont leave what he has established here. This is his team, he was offered a little more to go to Brisbane and decided to stay. He loves it here, so nothing to see.

Dylan Brown on the otherhand, not so certain about, he loves it at Parramatta but would listen to offers and take what suits him. Melbourne are interested but if they low balled Munster what will they offer Brown?

  • Hayze Perham has signed with the Dogs for next season

    • Really, that's disappointing as I felt he had a lot to offer.

    • Parra made it public that they had released Perham a few weeks back didnt they.

    • I agree Coryn, Moses has always put footy before money, that is why he came to Parramatta in the first place. Not saying he doesn't want his money, but i think he knows his worth, 1 mil should be enough.

Brown on the other hand could get a 1.1-1.2 mil offer from say the Warriors or Wests he might take it.

The local junior salary allowance being brought into the cap for 2023 onwards could help us massively with Brown. I think 4 years for Brown and 3 for Moses, don't want them coming off at the same time again.

        • Coryn, I don't know may teams who have over $2 mill locked up in halves but we will see and i get what you say but then you add in RCG / Junior / Hodgson / Matto / Lane / Gutho and then guys like Penisini and word is we are after Martin.

I hope we can keep both but need to do it before November i think. But the lure of playing in a competitive team will be the key; and Munster making a move too. I would be surprised if he left Melb.

  • Roosters and Storm are both circling D Brown and trying to push up MM's market price

  • Once the caps been set for 2024 you'll see some signings in quick succession

  • The first domino is Cam Munster, once he announces there'll be a flurry of announcements. Everyone's waiting on him.

    • I wouldn't mind us announcing him , right next to Moses .

      • He's Redcliffe bound
