  • If the author has been a member for all those years then he hasn't put his membership to good use. All those opportunities to get involved, to intervene if the club was going off track, to petition boards and stand up in AGMs. The author doesn't speak of any of that. I guess that's all "somebody else's job".

The Eels is a club run by members. If those members sit back and watch the club run off the tracks they're as much to blame as all the other complacent members.

You pay for your membership. Use it. Get involved with the club and work for positive change. It's the members club.
    • Did you attend the last AGM??
Anyone that questioned sharp and bevan paul was forced to return to their seats.
  • Jarhish, wheres your big breaking news that was meant to come out today?

Wasnt BA meant to be getting sacked today according you you.

  • I dont know how I feel about this.

On one hand I agree with most of what is said and understand where they are coming from.

On the other I dont think it should have been published as it doesnt paint us the fans in the right light. It paints us as weak and fair weathered which we are far from. We as fans are the ones struggling the most out of this and have the most to loose yet we have no control over what happens.

In saying that hopefully the peanuts running our beloved club read it and take notice.

  • Not going to bother!
  • Yes the truth hurts doesn't it !!!
  • It's been a bad run since the last premiership, but came close a few times. 1998 and 2001 will always haunt until another premiership happens.
