"Ok same question to you as LB, who should we get and when?"
"Exactly, why let him sit on the sideline or in Union, we get nothing out of it. At least get something in return. Not just anything but something pretty good."
"I would be really happy with Howarth, i think that is on the line of a deal where it is both fair value and nearly realistic of getting done. Still a long shot but i could see Howarth. Coates is a fantasy for example.

"Right now Lomax is only a piece of paper to the Eels. Like say a $100 note. It's not helping us until we exchange it for something tangible and of value. A decent player swap benefits our squad. Being intransigent may make us feel powerful but it…"

This is very good news 60's - I hope your info is accurate - i'm sure it is.
It seems that the media have been on a very long leash for quite a while now and the amount of trash reporting - stories that are proven to be completely false and at the same time quite defamatory - have reached critical mass.
Usually the story is quickly forgotten nothing more is heard, and the media move on to their next target/victim. The problem here is that they are hitting the same target over and over again, and always in a negative way. Nothing is ever positive and pretty much every story is speculative. Even the fact that the NRL are forensically checking our electronic devices has already basically been reported as they WILL find mountains of damning evidence - it's f****n' insane!
WE are even copping it on the player front - in the last 24 hours Semi has decided he wants out and negotiations with Normie have been halted - all because of our "disfunction" apparantly. Please.
Parra need to bite back, with vigour. They might be pleasantly surprised at the hearing they get in today's very PC legal system.
It's pretty childish stuff but alot of the media brigade are currently showing a distinct lack of judgement - maybe they are getting a bit big for thier boots and need a good stiff smack :)
Hope they start with the one in the smh that had the sensational headlines "NRL says Steve sharp must step down"
Then contained this within the article just to confuse us...
"The NRL denies suggestions that heads must roll or competition points will be deducted over the cap breach claims"
I don't think it matters what side of the Sharp fence ppl sit on but that is just a downright unaussie thing to write about someone.
The NRL ought to have come out and made a clear statement on that one or else find out who leaked that to the press.
Parra meat in a sandwich no more!
This could be a new revenue stream for us, based on the mount of crap that's written.
