Full credit to those who already scooped this yesterday and earlier today
PARRAMATTA fullback Bevan French could be sidelined for up to a month after suffering a posterior cruciate ligament injury.
French has been the Eels’ best attacking weapon this season and his injury makes their bid to secure an early release for Wests Tigers five-eighth Mitchell Moses a huge priority.
Clint Gutherson is likely to move to fullback to replace French with Brad Takairangi an option to move into the halves.
The Eels face Kieran Foran’s New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday.

Could be longer than a month, but we should be ok.
is this real cos im not seeing everyone overreacting yet snake
Hi Snake, any news on who has travelled with the team to replace French?
I really hope he doesn't move Manu. We have two backs on stand by there is no reason to move a forward in to the backs.

3: M Jennings

5: J Hoffman
6: B Takairangi
7: C Norman
He should be fullback
1. I would like to see how he goes at fullback - can he back up his one off
2. That is his preferred position and he deserves the reward after being a good sport of being moved around
Gees I hope we don't burn the Guth through this, given his commitment and offerings thus far!
