The Parramatta Eels have extended the contracts of outside back Will Penisini and prop David Hollis for two years until the end of the 2023 season.

A Parramatta junior, Will was recently upgraded to the NRL top 30 following his journey through the Eels pathways system. He joined the Club in 2016, working his way up the grades playing in the U14s development team, Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams.

Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O'Neill said, “Will has worked hard throughout the pre-season and his attitude has transitioned to the early part of the season with some impressive performances. Currently studying business management, Will is another player who has developed through the pathways program and we look forward to watching him progress to NRL.”

Mark added that David Hollis has also worked his way through the Eels pathways program and is now being rewarded with a two-year contract extension.

“David’s development is progressing well under the current coaching model and he has a wonderful opportunity to further develop his game, learning from representative players in Junior Paulo and Reagan Campbell-Gillard, which will set him up for future success. In addition he has recently completed his diesel mechanic apprenticeship which is testament to his work ethic and commitment.”
