  • You cannot doubt this man's guts, toughness and commitment to the blue and gold.

  • Wow, what a frigging champion.  This is amazing what this guy gives for this club.

I remember muttman saying that Gutherson may have tweaked his back the way he was putting the ball down in scoring,  but the true extent explains why Gutherson is a once in a generation leader. A true champion.

  • I can confirm this is true. Gutho is unbelievable. He needs some PR to endear himself better to fans but he's an absolute warrior.

  • To what extent were they broken and torn. Either way he's an animal but why in the world would our stupid club play him if he's was this injured

  • He's getting up there with Pricey and Hindmarsh as one of the gutsiest players we've ever had-and smart too. He played up on the tackle that Korisau did making sure it looked like it was his shoulder that got hurt- not his head so he didn't have to go off for HIA.

As a side note Kelma played with a broken hand last night and was one of our best

    • I really like Kelma as a player. He's a hole running backrower and the type of player we lacked under Arthur apart from Papalii in short periods. I would be conditioning him to be our main left edge player

      • Agree. He has been good.

      • Yep him and Dylan well be great together next year. Hopefully Ryles fixes any brain explosions he makes and his defence a bit. He still fails to check and slide sometimes as he just commits to a defender. But that's an issue with a lot of our players

  • He plays for the club and the badge. He applies his heart and soul for every game even if we lost.

You want players wanting to sacrifice for the club to be in the team and he definitely gets my respect.

  • This really says everything about the man. He's the type of player you make room for in your team. I truly believe we would have struggled to win any games without Gutho this season.

"Agree Mutts, lacks a bit of that speed and agility to be great at Wing and Center.
If he continue's his defensive work he could be an agile edge, but would probably be a backup at best."

"I think they will partner up JAC and Kelly for the next 2 years and get that combination humming.
The right is isn't as clear, but it really depends on how bad Simonnson's ankle is. I would expect Penisini and Simmon to lock down the right for most…"
