Oh dear, Paul Garrard fighting to the end. He is quoted in the article below saying he can't understand why he is being sacked for things that happened between 2013 - 2015 (when he was not on the board).
Paul, that is not why you're getting sacked.
The members and fans get it - you don't?
You're getting sacked because the board is not currently effective (arguably not effective for the past 9 months but anyways...). You failed to put in an acting CEO and slow down the salary cap train wreck. You have members calling for the board to be spilt. And three other directors state it isn't working.
Troy Grant has asked NRL fans to indicate if the board has their support.
Mr Troy, this board does not have my support.

....................
TUESDAY is D-Day for the Parramatta Eels board, who could be sacked as early as tomorrow evening.
The Parramatta Advertiser has been told that the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (ILGA) will meet at 2pm tomorrow to discuss whether the current Eels and Parramatta Leagues Club board are fit to govern.
Section 41A of the Registered Clubs Act gives ILGA the power to remove a board and appoint a temporary administrator if ILGA believes the board is no longer effective as a governing body.
NSW Deputy Premier Troy Grant told 2GB on Saturday that he was in the process of sacking the club due to concerns that the board members were no longer acting in the best interests of Parramatta Leagues Club members.
The idea of sacking the Eels board has the support of Eels chairman Steve Sharp, admitting “a temporary administrator is the only solution to overcome the political, constitutional and organisational challenges facing our club”.
“I will be seeking a briefing from the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (ILGA) as to their view on whether the registered club board is still an effective governing body,” Mr Grant said today.
“This decision from the Authority would not be taken lightly and I urge all Parramatta and NRL fans to indicate whether they believe the board still has their support.”
The idea of sacking the board doesn’t have unanimous support of Eels directors, with the Daily Telegraph reporting that there are at least two directors opposed to the idea.
One of the opposed, Paul Garrard, told the Parramatta Advertiser “I can’t see why I am getting sacked for things done between 2013 and 2015 when I wasn’t on the board”.
He still stood by his comments on Friday that the board has been working hard for 15 months “to resolve issues of previous administrations”.
As well as dealing with the NRL’s salary cap investigation, the Parramatta Leagues Club is also being investigated by Liquor & Gaming NSW into alleged breaches of the Registered Clubs Act.

PG just doesn't get it the bumbling old fool, he's vision is so self serving and selfish he just simply can't even see the big picture or why he is there in the first place, the bloke is a complete and utter joke.

Fuck me is Paul Garrard serious? You are getting sacked because an overwhelming majority of members want all of you gone. There were three separate EGM motions which the remaining members of the board squashed. Take a hint dickhead and just fuck right off.
well said Patsy, maybe he doesn't understand engrish. Can you get it translate in languages for him.

The most ironic thing out of all of this is that the board itself is divided over whether it should get sacked.
When three of seven people say 'it's all over', one of them being the Chairman, you know there is trouble.
Paul, whether you're innocent or not is beside the point. Your position, along with the entire board, is completely untenable. You surely cannot expect to remain after all that has happened.
