The Parramatta Eels Club has announced the appointment of David Kidwell to the coaching staff for the remainder of the 2018 season.
David joins incumbent assistant coaches Steve Murphy and Joey Grima this week, returning to Parramatta after playing in 33 games for the Parramatta Eels between 1999 and 2000.
David was previously an assistant coach at Melbourne Storm, Wests Tigers, and most recently Head Coach of the New Zealand Kiwi team in 2017.

That hit he did on Mason was nothing short of tough.
Now this is getting ridiculous! We've already had Watmough and Scott and now Kidwell!!! What position is he going to play and how long have we signed him?
Anybody is better than nobody, im sure he will help but im not sure hes the right bloke.
More of the 'hey cuz' culture at the club is a worry and the way NZ responded to this dopes coaching in the world cup was deplorable.
One thing about Parra that you have to admire is that they never sway from their mantra of hiring bums with nothing to offer .
With respect, would have wanted one Mr Luke Burt first.
But i guess these are the wrong moves you need to make when u got cultural problems.
