  • Screw Who plays Wednesdays, we want Team lists Tuesdays.

On the teams, good to see us have consistency in team selections so far from last week. Good to see Marc Griffiths come back into the starting 17 for the SG Ball squad he was a vital part of our 2013 Harold Matthews Grand Final team and will no doubt play a vital role in our future successes this year. Interesting that Turnball isn't playing in the HM cup team this week, maybe they're going to bring him down only every fortnight so that the constant travel isn't affecting his schooling or footballing?

  • The parraeels site are using your footage forty20 of the Penrith trail match. Pretty cool mate.
    • Nah it isn't the same footage. The video on the club site is shot from halfway whereas I was on the 20m line (to the left of the club video).
  • Wow that's alot of islanders. Little concerning
    • The club's aware that 90% of them will never play first grade. Most of those kids are just there to make up the numbers. In that case they may as well pick kids who will excel at under 16s level.

    • Exactlly we should focus more on smart halts . Not flash in the pan centers
  • Hi Forty, just a quick one...

    What’s your Toomata source?

  • We're focused on whomever we can get. All those ring in kids from QLD and NZ and country NSW are the ones we've tipped as potential first graders. That's why we went out and bought them. The rest are local kids who probably won't make it but will play well in junior reps. You can't buy an entire SG Ball squad of potential first graders because other clubs are all trying to buy them too.

  • I think Doolan might get a start this week
  • Half Time in the Harold Matthews

    Parra lead Newcastle 30-0

Dominant showing so far from the young boys. Jesse Cronin and Josh Curran have laid on some monster shots along with controlling the ruck while backrowers Filia Utoikamanu and #24 (unlisted sorry) have run wild. Alex Seve and Robert Afu (playing right wing) have also chimed in with some quality touches.

Parra fan on The Hill replied to Roy tannous's discussion Eels offering Jordan samrani
"I really like Samrani but if JR decides to give him up for MB I think that is a massive mistake.
IMO Samrani should be 1st drop for either centre/ wing if one of our starters is out. Brian Kelly is bog average and not going to get better.
Samrani…"
