Harold Matthews Round 1 vs Sydney Roosters
SG Ball Round 1 vs Sydney Roosters
Sorry about the sound guys I had to deal with numerous air planes, scooters and general pedestrian activity.
Next Saturday afternoon/evening we take on the Cronulla Sharks at Patrician Brothers Blacktown. Unfortunately I won't be on hand for these two games as it clashes with the three major trials against Penrith.

Nice work with the video, perfectly framed. The 7, 3 and 11 looked impressive for the Matt's, especially the 3 and the 7 in the Ball team (was that Dargan) looks like he controls the team well, nice kicks, etc
Thanks Forty20
Alex Seve (#7) and Tuimavave Afualo (#3) were awesome in the Matts. Seve looks like a pretty decent goal kicker as well for his age. They are still to be boosted by the returns of Josh Curran and newcomer Travis Turnbull so the team should look real scary over the next few weeks.
The #7 in Ball was indeed Troy Dargan. He didn't dominate the match but he had plenty of poise, as you said he kicked well and I thought his ball playing at the line was top notch for the age bracket.
I was sitting on the side that Tui Afualo (#3) and Tangata Utoikamanu (#11) were running in the second half and Seve was giving them some nice passes, Tangata broke the line a few times and half broke the line even more. Tui Afualo on the other hand was just an absolute beast all game.
Yeah it was a pearler, even in these early days it is a front runner for biggest hit from a Parra player in 2015 (Moeroa also had a gem in the Nines). You might have guessed it but that was me in the background having an appreciative guffaw at that poor young Rooster's expense!
It will be good fun following these kids this year.
thanks 40/20
My pleasure! If everything goes to plan I should be able to cook up something pretty cool for next weekend. :)
Cheers 40...& not a bad job on the old video camera...
FYI to all, just a full wrap of our Harold Matts result: Parramatta 44 (Tuimavave Afualo 2, Haze Dunster, Ethan Parry, Alex Seve, Jarrod Spicer, Ryan Pritchard, Zachary Tuala tries; Seve 6 goals) def. Sydney Roosters 12 (Edenn Rogers-Smith, Mataofo Alofia tries; Joseph Taaga Anae 2 goals).
Afualo is tied with a multitude of players on two tries in HMatts. One player from another club leads with three tries.
In SG Ball: Parramatta 34 (Cameron King 2, Dane Aukafolau, Dean Matterson, Jake Brennan, Denzal Tonise tries; Simon Fonua 5 goals) def. Sydney Roosters 20 (Bernard Lewis, Lachlan Lam, Dylan McLachlan, Ryan King; Dion Narayan 2 goals)
King is currently equal third on the try-scorers list.
One player from Balmain scored 5 tries in Rd 1, two other players scored hat-tricks.
