You won't believe this photo

You just won't believe the sights you'll see down at the Parramatta Leagues Club during this election period.

Decades old feuds have all been put to one side in a unified effort to oust the current Board.

Former 3P Director Joe Saad was seen wearing a Parramatta Professionals Hat for example. But this picture here really takes the cake.

These two have been feuding since forever but now they seem to be best mates, united in their desire to be in charge of our club? I've literally now seen everything. God help us.

Make sure you all vote tomorrow!!!!!

  • What one of these 2 don't realize is that if the guy on the right gets his way the guy on the left will no longer be of need and all those sweet spoils that he is assuming will be his wont be actualized and he will be hung out to dry and continue being the bitter old man that he is.

  • LOL Mutt i believe it and i warned everybody that hated fractions have come together to oust the current board, thats how scared they are of a long reign by steve.

  • You know it's sad when 2 blokes, both lifelong members and legends who have known each other for a 1000 years can't have a casual chat without having someone unknowingly take their picture and politicise it on a fan website..... Geez Matt, you would of been horrified last year if you'd seen the amount of times Spag and Sharpie hung out together at Ringrose to watch Wenty together...
    • I'm well aware that when it comes to football politics everyone has memories like gold fish. But c'mon this feud is decades old and well publicised. I'd love everyone to put it all the factional fighting behind them and get behind our Board and put the club first. I won't hold my breath though, sorry to say.
    • Geez Henry! Why do you always have to paint a picture of victimization. These two have lent their faces and voices to a public campaign it is far from unreasonable to snap a picture of them at that event it's not like they are just there to vote. It's not like Muttman creeped over someones back fence and took the picture.

    • Mate, they were having a casual yak...
If you want everyone to put their factional fighting behind them why bother going through such lengths as this??...
are you going to forbid Burty or Caylo from having a catch up chat with Piggy too??
    • Sorry StaggerEel but that is untrue about Roy and Sharpie together at Ringrose. I even double checked before I posted this. I was down at Ringrose last year on a number of occasions and I never saw Roy there.

I just wonder what your motivation for saying this is?

I was actually shown a photo today of Denis Fitzgerald dining with Roy Spagnolo before the AGM last year. Remember when all the motions got defeated?

Unfortunately the person would not share the photo. He is in negotiations with media groups to sell it.
  • Looking forward to spending a couple of hours down there tomorrow morning handing out ParraFirst flyers......
  • should have seen how warmly they shook hands this morning.

  • Geeeeeeez that man could play footy.

"Guymer is a younger version of what de Belin is here for. Cleaning up the middle with 2nd and 3rd man in attempts, get through work and do your share in attack. Guymer can definately do that."

"Yep agree. Though clubs like Canberra and Brisbane do it and did well, i just do not like it. I don't mind doing what BA did in between 2020-2022, where he would have Mahoney play 80 each week but then around Round 8-10 he would bring in like…"
