Can someone post all the game stats please. Interested in the forwards metres, tackles etc. The reason i ask is the last three games we seem to hit a wall around the 60min. Is this bad rotation? Poor fitness? Worked to hard during the week? Not enough recovery? With the % of ball we had i dont see why we looked so unfit at times there was 3 or 4 players not even back onside on the the second hit up after the bunnies kicked. I know theres a bloke on here who gets all these stats thanks.

  • We hit the wall at the 60min mark because we had no ball, every time we farted the dodgy refs blew the whistle.

After we went 18-0 up the penalty count was about 8-1, which is absolutely bullshit when you consider we won the ruck quite comfortably.

  • Fitness has been a concern all season. I blame Ronnie
  • I didn't think the fitness was a problem last night. The guys totally dominated the first half, they were more aggressive, tackled everything that moved, had more enthusiasm than the Rabbits. The beginning of the second half the intensity was still there but not as much but then the ref started the ridiculous penalties.
The rabbits played a bit dirty in the second half, Mannah ended up with a bad black eye, there were a few Eels players walking wounded basically because Souths were getting away with some cheap shots on Eels players which I think contributed to the tiredness but they still hung in there until the final whistle.
  • I thought BA was extremely well disciplined in the presser. I would have coughed up a few bucks for a tirade. What I saw last night was either gross incompetence or completely biased refereeing. The worst performance I have seen since Hartley.
    • Agree Big D nothing to do with fitness. When the game was over and Eels supporters were leaving they were all talking about the poor refereeing. Now this often happens, but not when you win.

    • 100% agree Big D. Borderline bias from the ref. I watched how quickly the ref eyed Sam Burgess out to shake his hand after the full time. Either a man rush or he's a mate of Sam Burgess.
  • Slip, the tackle that took Moses out and caused the injury was late enough to warrant a penalty at the least, think it may have been Sam Burgess who did it, but not totally sure.

Mannah certainly copped a few heavy hits and at one point went down for some time. I am thinking he still having some recurring problems with his shoulder.

The 2nd half had Souths more on the attack owing to dumb penalties and dropped balls and a couple of turnovers by a certain bench player thinks he can get away with loose carries and deliberately dropping it to try and get a penalty, when he gives up trying to be the clown of the team he will be more and provide really valuable service to the team.

  • Biggest fitness liability is Tim Mannah. watch him closely and he is puffed after 5 mins, falls off tackles and struggles to get back in line. His defence contact is soft. Tim Mannah needs to come off the bench and BA needs to limit his game time.
  • Teams that start slow or don't get greater than 50% possession in the first 20 minutes tend to struggle . I know penrith have won there last two after slow starts but the quality of the opposition allows this . Good teams start fast , get the momentum , regroup in middle and finish strong .
  • Usually a team well on top tends to get a heap of penalties because the opposition give away a heap as they tire etc. But for some reason the refs saw that game differently and managed to find them a heap despite being well below par. Some of their penalties were of the "random momentum shifting" variety I always go on about. Strange.

"Great stuff. JAC's contract has been handled perfectly. A one year plus club option to see how he'd perform. JAC played exceptionally well and now we give him 2 more years. Well played everyone. "
