We hit the wall at the 60min mark because we had no ball, every time we farted the dodgy refs blew the whistle.
After we went 18-0 up the penalty count was about 8-1, which is absolutely bullshit when you consider we won the ruck quite comfortably.
The rabbits played a bit dirty in the second half, Mannah ended up with a bad black eye, there were a few Eels players walking wounded basically because Souths were getting away with some cheap shots on Eels players which I think contributed to the tiredness but they still hung in there until the final whistle.
Agree Big D nothing to do with fitness. When the game was over and Eels supporters were leaving they were all talking about the poor refereeing. Now this often happens, but not when you win.
Slip, the tackle that took Moses out and caused the injury was late enough to warrant a penalty at the least, think it may have been Sam Burgess who did it, but not totally sure.
Mannah certainly copped a few heavy hits and at one point went down for some time. I am thinking he still having some recurring problems with his shoulder.
The 2nd half had Souths more on the attack owing to dumb penalties and dropped balls and a couple of turnovers by a certain bench player thinks he can get away with loose carries and deliberately dropping it to try and get a penalty, when he gives up trying to be the clown of the team he will be more and provide really valuable service to the team.
