      Cowboys already have Cooper and Hess as the starting edge forwards? Oates wants to play edge forward. Although Cooper is aging so may need to be replaced.

  The thing with Oates he wants to play second row but there is no guarantee that he will be an elite forward in fact Wayne Bennett, who’d have a fair idea, seems to think he won’t. So basically you’ll be paying big money for what is essentially a project player. I guess if it didn’t work you could say at that point, Corey it’s wing or reserve grade, but you’d have an unhappy player on your hands then. I’m not sure id go there.

  Unbelievable. Semi wanted a upgrade and deserved $1000000 simply because he could score most of our points , as I pointed out at the time. Now we will pay $700000 + for a winger. This is right up with Dogs letting Thurston go.

  Seriously there is no credibility on how to build a solid football team at Parra.

  If you cant build a good football team around Semi , then who do we have at Parra that we can build a team around.

    Seriously the Semi thing again !!! He signed with Toulon prior to the court case . If he wasn’t falsely accused he would still be here as we had a contract at the ready but as it looked likely he would be found guilty he had to sign overseas . Once the court case was done it was too late . We won’t get him back now nor will we see him in the NRL again time to move on !
