Parra Stadium

It has been six long weeks since we played at OUR home ground. It will be NINE weeks until we finally play the sharks there on 29th August.Granted we probably still wouldn't have made the semis, and yes before everyone states the obvious about our deals with ANZ & the Territory, Parramatta is OUR home ground.Get real about who we are, I understand it's a commercial industry but at the end of the day success has been starved from us loyal supporters. Playing at parra gives us more of an opportunity to be more successful, and then in turn will drive the commercial side of it!9 weeks is ridiculous, even more so that we have a reasonably good record there and reasonable facilities. Look at manly, Brookie is horrid, but you never see them take their home away!

  • Yes true that but once it gets upgraded we will no longer have to play at ANZ
  • 9 weeks is the NRL draw, not us. And to add, we chose the DATE to go to Darwin, not the opponent. So 9 weeks away is just unlucky. The Darwin deal brings us so much $ that it is worth it, plus the extra members we can attract in that part of Aus. The Sharks play 5 of their last 6 at home, but obviously have had many away games prior. It's luck of the draw
    • There is no way, NO WAY, that the draw is based on luck.
  • One of Sharp's original promises was to bring games back to Parra Stadium. So far he has moved 1 game to Darwin....

    • In the tele it explained manly can't play many away it's in the convenant or something and they have to pay warring ah council 46 grand rent each home game so they make nothing . I agree nine games is bs but don't use manly as an example they are going broke from their agreement
    • We used to play 3 at ANZ, we now play 2 and 1 at NT
    • So you agree with me then. He hasn't brought any games back to Parra, just moved one to Darwin.
    • Aveel there was a contract with ANZ before Sharp got here, his hands are tied but he stated he would not be taking any more games away from Parra, and no more games have been taken away,  he also stated he would like to bring all games home, thats why we are pushing for a bigger ground.

  • Carloeel have you been drinking?
    • LOL Tentonz, i think you might be correct, Carlo's been hitting the West coast coolers.

"I think Braith respects Ryles as a coach and what he's doing at Parra and obviously believes Lomax did the wrong thing, listened to poor advice and brought this all upon himself and did the wrong thing to Parra"
