Yes.... once proven he is not invlolved or had knowledge.... While JT would be great..... a 7 that can complete our sets with a good kicking game and show some spirit is ideal.
If we do that we arouse the suspicion of the auditors ourselves.
Cooper Cronk playing alongside Jarryd Hayne, Timana Tahu and Feleti Mateo starts to look almost as suspect as Cronk alongside Smith, Inglis and Slater.
Not just Hayne, Tahu and Mateo. We have Hindmarsh, Moimoi and Poore all on pretty decent salaries. We can't afford Cronk anyway. Would rather keep Mateo, Grothe and Inu than get Cronk.
We have enough current talent in our backs to more than compete, complemented by the potential of Humble. Last year showed us, and the second half of last week showed us that when the forwards give our halves and backs some room to move they can easily do the job. Look at the fowards not the halves, though it would help if KK passed the ball occassionally.
I'd love to see cronk play with Parra, we honestly have not had a smart and determined halfback since Taylor and look where he took us! I think we can try, at the expense of a few possible players. Me personally, i'd probably prefer to see Cronk leading the team that Mateo trying to, he's just not firing this year, seems like he doens't want to be here, the only problem is that Mateo is a Parra junior, and I am always loving the fact that we develop such great players.
I think were looking good in the forwards, maybe some depth might be good but we are looking good in that spot.
I think Cronk is second to JT right now and is the future QLD halfback, in fact if Lockyer retired from rep footy I think Cronk would be the 7 and JT the 6. Sign him up, bye mateo and inu.

"I actually think Jake will sign with us. He is that extra outside back utility we're looking for. He can play 14 and if the joash experience doesn't work out he can play 6 no issue at all. Has good speed and leg speed. Really suits ryles "
