Parra players night out at the Casino!

So here's the story, last night at around 11pm, i'm chilliin with my mates watching the band "Suite As...." at the Lilly Pad in the Casino , and whom do i see??? Half the first grade team, that's who!!!! Jarryd, Timmy, Sef Paulo, Allgood, Kelly, Norman and some little blonde chunky dude whom i didn't recognise. They were all sitting at a table watching the band and going absolutlely ape shit nutz around the bar and on the dance floor. BJ Leilua was also standing at the bar looking on rather quietly.

....and Lemme tell you, [strictly  as a fly on the wall, fan and passive observer of course] ;), that the Boyz had a crazzzzy, wiiild nite out!! Partying like it was 1999!. Not overly concerned with there behaviour as they had obviously knocked back a lot of beers, [which is fair enough as they deserved to celebrate there brilliant win], but no major dramas, quite innocuous, drunken, larrikin behaviour....just  footy boyz having fun really. At one stage, the over-handed security tried to chuck Allgood out for absolutely nothing and Paulo comes out of the Lilly pad to talk to the bouncers and they try to chuck him out too! After a while, the bouncers agreed to let 'em stay, and they went back inside and straight back to the dance floor. Paulo and Norman, sporting a backwards baseball cap, took over the dance floor and started dancing in the middle of a circle of hot, model-type groupies. I look In the corner and what do i see?, Mitchell "Mr. Charisma" Allgood  seducing a hottie, Haha!!!....They Were ALL having a lot of innocent fun, even Timmy was in the thick of it....haven't seen 'em this pumped up and excited and happy since 2009!

ALL the boys were surrounded by model types and other hot groupies who recognised Hayne. Hayne was "tanked as bro", ..... just sitting there with his shades on like the Kool Cat that he is haha. One of the most stunning, leggy blonde, model types i've ever seen goes up to Jarryd and tries to chat him up but he ain't interested haha. They were all having crazy fun in there, taking over the dance floor, Paulo and the little blonde dude even break dancing!!!

Tried speaking with 'em but a bit hard as they were just in there own world really having a blast!!!. Paulo in particular was in a very jovial mood dancing like a nutter haha, and he kinda snubbed me as i was trying to speak to him .......Anyways, all innocent fun! Deserved a big celebration! ....So it's now about 1.30am, and i leave the venue with my mates, and the boyz are now all outside the Casi about to hop into a stretched LIMO with around 5 hot hot  groupies [including the leggy blonde who hit on Hayne but i think was now hitting on Norman lol]......Aaah, The life of an NRL player hey!, These guys are no joke living like rock stars! Sterlo Kenny and Wynn would be smirking in complete disbelief and envy at the lifestyle's of current Gen footy stars. So i finally speak to a few of 'em, all polite and friendly, if a bit abrupt. Mannah's a very friendly guy and easy to chat with and Corey seems like a humble guy too., Luke Kelly was the quiet one in the group last night, seems like a very nice down to earth guy. Hayne...well....umm, well... he shook my hand outside, no eye contact though. hahaha.....

I've been a hardcore Parra fan since the early 80's , but sometimes i feel there's a divide and a wall between players and fans when you see them by chance out in public,  There are exceptions though..Two weeks ago,i  was sitting near Reni Maitua and his best mate Willie Tonga in Tropicana cafe, Coogee, [There always on coogee bay road, as are some of the roosters boys like Carney and Friend]. Let me tell you, Maitua is a great  guy. He is very easy to talk to and comes across as quite humble and grounded. Tonga seems very quiet. Conversely, the biggest f......tards i've spoken with around the Eastern Suburbs were Justin Hodges back in his Roosters days, Big Willie Mason and Braith Anasta outside the CBH one time.....and lest i forget my ex's "not so nice" encounter with a drunken Sticky Stuart over a game of pool years ago ....[Dean Pay had to apologise to her on Stickys behalf after the game haha]

  • "Eels in turmoil as players have alcohol fueled night"

  • That's about a years worth of material...

  • "Jarryd Hayne Gay?"

  • Haha, yeah the bouncers DID try to chuck Allgood and maybe Paulo out, and there was a bit of drama free discussion with the security guards outside the bar. I was saying to my mates "oh my god , here we go, ...", but luckily the whole thing smoothed over rather quickly and peacefully and the boys went back inside the bar.

  • Did Corey have a baseball cap on backwards? says it all really.

    That will be all jury..

    • Surprisingly the guy is actually the friendliest of the bunch of them, a bit of a character. was good to see him and paulo tear it up on the dance floor. whose the little blonde dude who hangs out with them? one of the lower grade guys?

  • Good to have a few victory beers but not entirely enjoying reading this story. Sounds like a few were carrying on like rock stars and being less than humble towards supporters. The same supporters who have followed them when they were playing like paupers the last few years.
    • No they were OK and friendly when i approached them. But its not like there gonna go "hey buddy! you're a hardcore Parra fan!!! come join us!! come celebrate with us!!!" Yes  perhaps its too early in the season to be having a wild night out. But we have the bye next week yes? so perhaps Arthur wanted them to cut loose for a night. I think they were just ecstatic and celebrating what a great season they are having. Was all harmless fun. No mitchell pearce headlines here lol....

    • The only one who definately gives off the "rockstar", kinda unapproachable vibe is our incumbent Origin fullback, Monsieur Hayne Plane. But this happens to all of them and i kinda expect it. Inglis and Cronk at Melbourne Casi a few years ago and Benji Marshall at casino another time were acting exactly the same way with the same entourage of model type groupies hanging off them. It would be pretty hard not to buy into your own celebrity after a while. So Hayne shook my hand quickly, no eye contact, and was on his way. Paulo kinda brushed me off too. [you'd think he'd be ecstatic any one recognises him actually].Having said this, Hayne was about to hop into the stretched LIMO at the time and some babe was calling out to him "jarryd jarryd hurry up...", so i understand.

  • Better than hanging at Hillsong.
