Parra Open Training Session in Orange

Hey Everyone,

Long time viewer of this site but only joined today.

Have supported the emails for 26 out of my 32 years of exsistance and have loved the ride.

Our beloved Eels are here in my home town of Orange today having a open training session and a game of touch footy against a side made up of locals this afternoon from 3pm. Cant wait to get out there and see the boys up close and see them put through their paces by SK.

Thanks to Peter and Dan Mortimer for bringing the emails to their home town of Orange to give the community an insight into the mighty Eels.

Thanks for the welcome and glad to see there are some other poor desperates out there that support the Eels - Spurs double.

Just heading out to the sports ground now. I am like a little a 32 year old little kid jumping with excitement. It will also be my 2 year olds first glimpse at the mighty eels. I am hoping today is the day that that he falls in love with the mighty Eels.

We've got some of the best wide players in the world IMO, so anything they can pick up from Becks can only help. I was kinda relieved we didn't pick him up on a short-term playing gig though.

Final 16 of Champions League and displacing Chelsea from top four. It's almost made the off-season bearable.

  What wide players? Lennon and Bale (possibly Modric). That's only two (as Modric plays CM). You guys could have really used Becks. Looked like he wanted to be there, good relationship with Harry, and could provide creativity through middle, not just wide.
