MAYOR SIGNS WITH EELS

Former Parramatta Lord Mayor John Chedid.
High-profile Parramatta councillor John Chedid is pulling in $150,000 a year from the Parramatta Eels after standing down as mayor last September. Chedid’s nice lil’ earner comes through his role as CEO of the Eels’ Premiership Club for business networkers. Chedid was mayor when the council hatched plans to pay Eels’ stars Tim Mannah, Will Hopoate and Nathan Peats$75,000 each to act as city ambassadors. But the controversial idea was dumped last month amid the storm over third-party payments. Chedid said he abstained from the most recent deliberations, as did ex-deputy mayor Paul Garrard, who helped develop the scheme. He is now an Eels director.

That's decent coin.
Does anyone know if that's a full time gig?
Thankfully no mention of helicopter flights to Premiership Club events.

Given the potential for a conflict of interest the 2 councillors would not be able to participate in discussions , deliberations or votes in any Parramatta Leagues Club matters before the Council .
Wouldn't same point be made without the last 5 words?
Coco the lebanese at our club have a pretty good reputation for sticking together, Fongy is spot on with his question and the answers yes.
