Melbourne as a team played GREAT all year and we went against them in the big one and lost. It doesn't matter what they cost, they're still only players in a team. And they played great ALL year whereas Parra played like old women til round 14. That we clicked and were brilliant for 10-11 rounds is fine but when we played them in the final we were outclassed by a better team. That's been reinforced by our shit form this year.
If we took the Premiership it would negate all the honest effort and big heart parra showed for those beautiful 10 weeks.
I'll be happy if we can string a couple of wins together let alone make the eight this year. As for the Eel's 'mental state', they probably still haven't stopped laughing.
