One of the talking heads on NRL360 mentioned earlier this week that the Dolphins have agreed to terms with a couple of bigger names but, for whatever reason, are holding off making a public announcement.

I have turn my attention to Adam Keighran as a poor man's Herby. Mixed opinions on him so far from others on the site.
Also, I have a gut feeling about Talakai who might be a bit over priced but is explosive and versatile. If Herbie and Talakai are the same price I'd take Talakai.

I think Nikora having his price pushed up from our and tiger interest is ultimately a good thing.
Looking at some of their depth forwards, Royce Hunt, Hamlin-Uele, Pele and a few others. We have a track record of being able to turn fringe forwards into a first graders.
I have a feeling Talakai is our man for the edge, I actually think Makatoa could be nice on the edge too.
Mak would be on Minimum salary too.
if we assign 800k to our starting edge boys, take the 150 of Mak and all of a sudden Talakai is super affordable.
