Parra in the top 8

By the end of the round no matter what we will drop no lower than 8th who would of thought that we would be in the top 8 in round 9 after back in round 6 after we lost our 4th straight game just shows you it's not the end of the world with a few losses all it takes is a win or two to turn the tide and to think people wer starting to call for BA's head lol good times

  • I must admit I was panicking after round 6 and I will panic again (that is a promise ), but after last week I was thinking that maybe we had started playing a lot like last year because of the the siege mentality getting back into us after 4 losses , the defence looks like it has purpose they look like they are doing it for each other and some brilliant attack is coming off the back of that
  • Guilty as charged. I asked questions of BA, did not ask him to be sacked, but wanted answers. After 4 depressing rounds, I wanted to mnow how we went from 2-0 to 2-4. Regardless, I am eating some sweet pie right now, boys proved me wrong.

    Well Done!
  • What  I liked the most today was the intent.

We won a penalty in front of goal after 3-4 mins but we didnt take the easy two. We came out really positively and stood up to their forward pack bending the line several times. From then on, it was easy for Corey to command his troops and kick it all off with the line break which set up the 1st try.

I think the effect that JT's absence had really buoyed us and the boys came out very confident they could go toe-to-toe.

  • Good to see positives on this site these last couple weeks!! Up Parra !
  • This is just further proof how shit the comp is and how the celery cap keeps the comp deadset average.

  • BA will be one of the great coaches and we should sign him up for life.
He has made mistakes and we should be able to criticise.
But sacking him is the worst possible thing we could do to Parra
  • Some how I feel the losses were needed, the boys had to find a way to turn it around and now they have. They didn't offer any excuses just kept trying.

  • i think we do it for 2-3 years at a time as to make him more comfortable with his situation

  • completely agree brett

  • While 5 and 4 feels a hell of a lot better than 2 and 4, let's not get carried away. We now have roosters and raiders so could be 5 and 6, back to back losses and back to 10th or 11th. Next week is critical ... c'arn Eels.
