I liked the way he used his edge early on in the game, he was giving them early ball and letting them run at the opposing half. Unfortunately due to the stream jumping constantly I didn't get to watch much of the second half.
I wasn't overly impressed but he looked more like a half than a fullback today, he seemed more focused on a game plan and stuck to it.
Manly will be a lot better next year with Green and Cullen in the squad. Cullen could be a very good no.14 off the bench covering hooker and half for Manly next year.
Yep...and was so glad mounties lost today... they were and still should be a Parramatta heartland club...which was allowed to be given away to canberra..by our then infamous ceo paul "shoplifter' osbourne... how ironic it was played at Parra Stadium...
We chose Wenty as our feeder club. We didn't need the Mounties. Meanwhile the Raiders needed a NSW Cup team for their backups to get a game and Mounties was a good fit.
Hope you are correct Alfred. Would be very pleased if true, but lets keep perspective here. We are talking a major step up from QLD to the NRL and first grade. Sounds from most peoples ons the guy has heaps of potential, but we have all seen that many times before.
"Da Silva is a potentially elite dummy half. He would already be on very good money, probably $600k+ and will eventually be taking the majority of minutes at dummy half. Perhaps as early as 2026. Smith might start every game but could end up only…"
"He was a try-scoring machine, but fuck his defence was deplorable. Just imagine where Semi would be sitting on this list is he'd have stayed in League..."

I look forward to watching the game later in the week when it is replayed on Fox. Great result.

Yes, I'm looking forward to it. More interest in this Sunday now.
