Parra fight night

Did anyone see the snippet in one of the Sunday papers about the Parra fight night. Their is a proposal going forward to have the Eels players take on each number in boxing bouts in a big fight night at Homebush. Proposed match ups are Nathan Cayless vs Nathan Hindmarsh, Keating vs Keating, Hayne vs Inu...

Hate the idea... understand it will be a fun thing but at some level players will not want their ego dented.

There is footage of Mateo boxing at a BBQ with a mate on you tube.... Mateo like most of the players should stick to footy.

Perhaps Parra players could take on Melbourne Storm.

If it's just fun with protective gear (like Sailor v Karl Stefanovic was), and it's for charity, then do it.

If it's actually meant to be real... then fuck that! That would be completely wrong for teammates to do that.

I dont think guys from the same team fighting each other is a good idea but i think the concept is a good one.Give half the prizemoney to charity and it would be a way for players to earn some extra coin.Imagine Fui v white,Grothe v Costigan,Hayne v Slater.The tv ratings would be huge.
