Parra fears nobody

Parramatta fears no other team in the competition, Daniel Anderson said at the post-match press conference. "Every week is a test. We've been in a knockout phase for five or six weeks, so nothing is going to surprise us,'' Anderson said. "We'll go into the games confident we can win, respectful of the Tigers (next week) but certainly we don't fear anyone at the moment ... that's good for us.'' In the last 2 months, the Eels have beaten second-placed side the Bulldogs and the third-placed Storm, and probably should have beaten the Titans when without Jarryd Hayne. And while the Eels were slaughtering the Warriors last night, the Dragons showed they are far from invincible when Canberra continued their winning run against them. News Limited Match Report

  • WE CANT BE BEATIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we fear no one it is other teams that fear us
  • As long as the Chosen One plays, I fear no one.
  • I fear overconfidence and complacency.
  • I understand where you're coming from Jamesy, particularly given our history with attitude. As far as complacency is concerned I was more worried about the Warriors game than any of the next 3. Games against the Tigers, Panthers & Dragons will determine our finals chances so I don't think complacency will be an issue. Ando will also be having a lot to say about overconfidence at training I suspect.

I think the need to play at such high intensity for so long will be a telling facftor. The guys are playing with so much confidence they certainly don't fear anyone but as the Dragons found out last weekend you don't have to be far off 100% to get beaten by any one of our next opponents.

Although, being the first team to win the comp from 8th would be great so I hope the dream run continues all the way!!
