Not sure how good this commentary will be with Sterlo and Ginnane, but I think it is a good idea. Will Sterlo just talk himself up?

Kicking off next Wednesday night, watch an exclusive Re-Live broadcast of the 1986 Grand Final, featuring fresh new insights from Triple M's Dan Ginnane and Eels Legend Peter Sterling!
As part of the lead up to our official Heritage Round Game against the Bulldogs in Round 19, Dan and Sterlo are adding their voices to the original commentary from Ray Warren as they call the game that had everything ... except four-pointers.
We've combined it with all the original footage from the game to create a unique experience of the Eels' fourth Grand Final victory over our neighbours and rivals, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
There's only one place and one time you can watch the Re-Live broadcast, and that's online at parraeels.com.au. Be there for kick off at 7.30pm, Wednesday July 15!

Waste of time, the Eels need to focus on the future not an archaic period of past successes. Time to move on.
Its all we have Joe, its all we have.
Hey it could be worse, they could call our 2001 Grand Final or the 98 semi vs Dogs.
I agree Joseph, however I wouldn't mind seeing something like this every time we have a bye, or maybe a few in the off season. As it is some fans like to watch replays of classic games, and may even have some still on video or DVD laying around at home.
Actually I think it could also make a good "live" event at the club, have some commentators call the game live while a room full of members watch it.
There's a massive argument.
If an NRL side played a Toyota Cup side - and as expected, won - you don't then award the victory to the Toyota Cup side on the grounds that it was unfair because they didn't have as strong a team.
Also, imagine your elation on GF day when Parra finally win another flag!! Think about the high you'd be on for days, weeks, in fact the whole off season?
Now, compare and contrast that feeling to how you'd feel if the NRL decided to retrospectively award Parra the 2009 Premiership tomorrow??
What do you think about at the olympics if an athlete is found to be cheating they then give the gold medal to the person who finished second?
That's an individual sport. There are too many variables with team sports - and had Melbourne been rubbed out earlier, there are no guarentees that we would have made the GF let alone win it.
Too many unknowns.
I hate the Storm as much as anyone for what they did to the competition, let alone us and Manly.
But to retrospectively award Parra the premiership simply cannot work.
On right now!
