Hi All,
I have been a Parra supporter since 1977 and have enjoyed the first 8 rounds of 2016 immensely. I am on this site everyday and lately the negativity has reached a level that reminds me of the bad old days ( 2011 to 2013 ). I, like every other Parra tragic have been bitterly disappointed with the events of the last month and it seems that when we finally got a team to be proud of, some dispicable lowlife tries to destroy our progress. It is hard to imagine that anyone would do this to their own club, but they have and we are here now.
The reason I am writing this is to try to send a positive message to the fans on this site and to remind everyone that we can still make the semi's. The hardest two games we have are against the broncos and the sharks, round 17 and 23. If we string together a few wins before round 17 and get some confidence and consistency, it is not impossible for us to win all these games. You never know, a bit of luck and no injuries it could happen. Now I'm sure that BA still believes we still have a shot as he stated in his press conference on Monday, " you put a couple of wins together and the whole thing can change" If our coach believes we can do it, than so should we as supporters.
I have never written a blog and hope I don't get slammed for this one, as I use my real name which I probably not a great idea. Keep up the positive reinforcement and GO Parra.

Loved to be proved wrong though Habib .
Big welcome Feras aka Feral, nice first blog, you should have joined long ago, i respect your resiliance but i cant agree, we are cooked this year, mathematically we have a chance but realistically we have very little.
Mentally for the team this years over, the cracks are starting to show and i cant really blame them.
The biggest issue I have with the negativity on here is....what does it say to the team? Parra fans have a reputation of disappearing from the stands once things get a bit tough and that is the last thing BA and the players need. The constant noise from fans saying "we're screwed for this year " has to be in the ears of the team and when you consistently hear the same message you start to believe it.
Hey Jon Boy is your last name Jovi?????Lol
Welcome aboard. I'd love to see the boys go on a winning streak and sneak into the 8, id love nothing more, but I just don't think we are playing well enough. The past 2 games our defence has started leaking a few more points than earlier in the year and our attack has never really reached any great heights this year and is still a great concern. I'll cheer them on regardless and hope that 2016 goes from nightmare to miracle year but I just cant see it happening.
And maybe we should start by redonning the canary yellow shorts ... I may've slightly miscalculated what a powerful weapon they were in the past :)
If we hang around criminals we can do 'crimes against fashion' Mace
I can't see even the front-runners only dropping 1 or 2 games from here on. It's tough these days to perform consistently well, even with half the QLD origin team. Our only real hope is if the NRL relent on the number of points they take from us - I can't see that happening though. It's a shame because we could have shaken the comp up this year.
Although our "glamorous" director did say that the Parra response will be "illuminating to the NRL" - what say you is there something more to that? What is is that will be so illuminating, or is she still blinded by that ridiculous gold tree we had in the foyer of the Leagues Club years ago?
Did someone just say 2009?
