  Thanks Sixties and Forty for the upcoming Wenty blog. Sixties, you have tugged at heart sting by saying Ringrose Park. I played with wenty when i was a kid but also played touch footy with mates and even had Wenty Primary School athletics carnivals. If i didn't live 400 kms i would of come down. So I will watch the blog and reminisce.

  Full time at Wenty today - Wenty 28 def Wyong 18.
  Top shelf games from Wicks, Cornish and Tanginoa. IDG official player of the match. Forty was in great form with his live blog.
  I got down to Ringrose today and thoroughly enjoyed it - from the sprinklers comically coming on for 10 minutes and delaying the game to the big hits, it was a great Sunday arvo. Plenty of Eels players in attendance watching their mates go round and BA checking out the form of key players

    Would you say Wicks will be fit enough and in form to get a spot next week over maybe Alvaro? Similarly Cornish looked to have a blinder going on the blog, surely he will be the first choice next time if one of the halves is injured?

    Happy days then. Would you have Wicks over Alvaro? Wicks is more aggressive and tbh, Alvaro was disappointing and we have heard the talk about "competition for spots" so I'd expect good performances from everyone or find themselves at Wenty shortly? Terepo, Pritchard & Edwards all earned a round 2 spot IMO

  Wicks looks fit and he said that his shoulder felt good. It's a hard call as to whether he would push someone out, but he made a case for inclusion. I'd definitely select Cornish next time as he has the ability to create opportunities and control the play.

  The beauty is I don't have to make that call. I'd probably keep the pack and bench for this week. Of course, all of the players would have been reviewed by the coaching staff, so perhaps Wicks might be seen as a better option against a rugged Cowboys pack.
