Paps rumoured to have been shopped around...

Would he be a good fit in the blue n gold? Injury would be the only concern, but i guess our current number 1 co e to us with injury concerns and look where he is at now.

If storm pay some of his way then i for one would be keen to bring him across.

  • Eels stupid enough to take him. Yes he can offer speed and dazzle. Problem obviously too injury prone now

  •  Cant see it happening

  • He's had one serious injury, the most recent was a contact injury which can happen to any player, any time.
I doubt the Storm are shopping him. This is the media adding 2+2 and getting 9.

  • He's had two unlucky contact injuries. The last one I blame his coach for making him defend in the middle. Name me another person on the planet whose ankle survives NOS diving sideways at his ankle. Tedesco had how many ACL's before hitting his potential?
You'd take Paps every day of the week. He's young and culturally he's exactly the type of player any club would want. He's a future Captain. He also grew up locally with heaps of family and friends in the area.
Gutho ain't going to last forever.

    • But do you really think the Storm are shopping him ?

      • Officially no I don't. (They'd never admit it) But they apparently have cap issues and a couple of very decent options at FB. I think they would consider it if they got something out of it like say a player swap etc. Long shot for sure but yeh I think it has legs.

        • Ok, so who on our roster would you swap to get him ?

          Lane ?

          Hopgood ?

          • Dunster, Sivo, Russell, Ase, Lumelume, Loizou, Momosea, Rodwell, Makatoa, Doorey. They can take them all. They are all shit

            • Agree totally

            • Sivo isn't shit he's amongst the most prolific try scorers to have ever played top grade rugby league
