Biggest Test this year for the unpredictable Eels. Which Eels side will turn up this Friday evening against the premiers? What will be the result? Will young Jake be selected in the number 6 jersey? Or will he be on the bench next to Cartwright again? Or will he even be selected given all the media blowout? Many questions but the biggest question is will the Eels win against Penrith at their home ground against no doubt a vocal crowd and more than likely slightly favoured refereeing and bunker decisions? I'm thinking that young Jake won't be selected at all to preserve both son and dad from more media and fan negativity but I will tip a Penrith victory but an improved Eels performance. Panthers by 12 points for me and Eels to slide out of the top 8.

Given COVID swept through basically the entire Panthers squad late Jan it'd be pretty bad luck for them to already be catching it again.
I probably jumped the gun with it being covid Captain but at least 3 players are down with illness and a big chance of missing the game.
