Panthers do it again from 14 nil down at the break

They've come back from 14-0 at half time to win 18-14

It has to be their bench and fitness, our bench and South's didn't match their intensity or ability.

Teams will have to think twice about who they start with against the Riff.

  • And just like last week they got some assistance from the referees! The refereeing in the NRL is at an all time disgrace!

  • I heard Fanny Fong was so happy that Souths were leading at the break that he ran into the sheds and gave the whole font row blowies. However the players were that disappointed by the effort that it ruined their second half.
    • Well played sir.
  • I suffered heat stroke watching this game in my loungeroom so far too hot for footy. Fancy leaving Peachey on bench till last 15 minutes. Very risky IMHO.

    • He does appear to know Rafferties Rules Pops!

    • LOL Pops, Henry Penerama. I think they named a mountain near Bathurst after him.

  • Lets see how the panthers play away games. Rub of the green again this week. They are not that great.

  • Yep. Panthers were lucky.
Souths lost momentum went GI went off. They also got spanked in the penalties in that second half like we did last week.
  • I think when sides get match fit and can maintain intensity panthers will struggle. Just on fitness, wests look the fittest of anyone and it looks like Ronnie Palmer is their trainer

"Same, Kurupt. Whatever the outcome, Jim, Beach, Ryles and the club stood united and stood their ground when they were meant to roll over for the Storm and PLV, discreetly. Moses SC has also been brilliant."
