Packer Returns to NRL

Controversial forward Russell Packer has been cleared by NRL to resume his career after signing a 2 year deal with St George.

The 26 yo last played in the NRL in 2013 after being sentenced to 2 years jail In January 2014 for assault causing actual bodily harm after being released in January this year. Packer earned his St George contract after impressing with the Illawarra Cutters this year.

Absolute grub of a human being, anybody who stomps on another persons head while he is laying on the ground defenceless should be charged with attempted murder and locked up for a very long time and be banned from playing the game ever again, its that bad a crime, he could have left the bloke brain damaged or dead, a clear message needed to be sent out.

For one of the few times Frankie I agree with you. You actually make sense when you write a decent blog without the usual rubbish that normally accompanies it.
