Bit harsh there mate, Matt is known a special needs child in our modern, politically correct society.
We've come a long way, Matt would of been considered a total dumb ass retard a decade ago when society lacked the knowledge and understanding of a special needs child.

In relation to Pack weights? I recall Brian Smith saying the game is going to be played at a much faster pace with the 10mtr rule being enforced more diligently so we will be going with a more mobile (read "lighter") pack in 1999-2000 to justify letting both Dymock and Jason Smith go and Deano retire.
I worked great for the season proper until we played Newcastle in the GF. They had a big strong forward pack with an unlikely mobile giant in the frontrow who with his mates smashed us out of the game in the first half.
This will not happen to us this year as we have increased our toughness and kept our size in the forwards. The game will probably be played with more sustained effort required for longer periods but our preparation will suit that.
I don't care how big other packs are. Look at Brisbane's (not too big, but mobile) pack and they made the GF.
