This club badly needs to recognise the shortage of NRL quality backs on the roster. Its been a problem for years now and its at rock bottom.
Will Penisini and Sean Russell are young blokes who should be learning their trade while the team rides a few ups and downs. Theyre being counted on as our 2 most realible backs. Simonsson is a utility back who is being asked to play strike centre. Sivo doesnt play a modern day wingers role, hes counted on to finsih chances . His work out of the backfield and his wokrate are both terrible.
Waqa Blake (will be gon after this year), Dumspter (should be gone after this year), Lumey Lumey , Cini are not first graders and wont be first graders. We need to be scouring others clubs, super league , the 7s rugby circuit wherever we can for reliable backs with a bit of speed. Collectivelty we have the worst collection of outside backs in the comp and its letting us down badly week to week. The team was off the pace tonight but its not helped by the shit show the Massy Cup quality backs we put out there.

If the club doesn't sign some speed and size in the backline they should all be walked out of the club at gun point. Fucking thieves.
They have been looking for x factor all year. We need a winger asap.
Worst part is they announced they were after mid year and here we are 5 rounds out from the semi still sucking our thumbs.

There's more than one way to win a game. Some teams go for athletes on the wing who can run like the wind and compete for the ball in the air. Some like Penrith go for extra forwards who can get them 300m out of the backfield.
We go for 1 bloke who only shows any attacking intent when hes a sniff of scoring a try and Russell who will probably end up being a centre long term. I think we need an atheltic winger who can finish half chances and give us an aerial threat if all else fails. We never replaced Blake Ferguson .

Dunster is a fine 4th choice winger.
Sivo and Waqa should be moved on immediately.
Russel is a great reliable back up.
Simonsson and Pensini are full blown first graders.
Arthur Miller-Stephen should get a shot as should Loizou, sometimes players reach new levels with a shot in the NRL.
I'd say Allan Fitzgibbon is one of the best wingers not playing first grade.
Charlie Staines is nothing crazy but would be a big upgrade for us.
Same as Corey Oates. He is aging but he is reliable.
Lack of quality wingers has cost us 3 games this year. It's unbelievable.
As an emergency fix if we can't afford fresh faces, I'd move Carty out and push Simonsson to the wing.
Matterson should just start on an edge I think.
the bench impact is great but not at the cost of the actual starting lineup.
We would just have one spot to fill at that stage. Surely a youngster just steps up.
Storm need a winger and they find Warbrick.
We need a winger and we find Lumey Lumey who they realise wasn't worth persisting with 3 years ago.
I think we have to look beyond NSW Cup and the Rouse Hill Rhinos. We either have to pay up for an established first grader or look at somewhere like the 7s. They're all fit and fast there would be a few that you could get a bit out of if you put the work into them . Like what are we expecting from Dunster seriously . He's a mid level athlete who's ceiling is solid and reliable and he may not even reach that .
