OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES

Informed my 7 yr old of the news on the drive home from school of the major days events. It went like this..

Me: There's been some devastating news today

J: What is it?

Me: Jarryd Hayne is leaving the eels

J: Why?

Me; To go play American Football

J: Why?

Me: To try something different

J: Will he be back?

Me: I don't know

J: Well, we've still got Semi.....and that dude that made it over half way.... ( Chrissy in the Newcastle game)

Me; You mean Chrissy?

J: Yeh Chrissy, we've still got two good players.....

LOL

How have your kids reacted? ,the next generation of Eels supporters, do they care?? If not should we follow their lead mb :-)

    Only converted him a year ago from the Dragons.

    My 8 year old - it's been hard enough keeping him in side but Jarryd did.
    I'm guessing he'll will be a Souths supporter like his Poppy tonight. Was cheering for them in the gf like they were parra

    My kids are walking around on eggshells at my place.

    My young fella hugged me and said are you ok ? God love him :-)

    My older boy shows me a picture and says is this for real, he just cant believe it..
