Our Top 25 (edited)

I'm going to put my hand up. I'm confused about which players make up our top 25. As fans, we may be close to being able to add things up, but I would like to actually know. This would prevent much of the criticism about player selection at a time where the cap dictates who we can select on a weekly basis.
On another note, clubs like Parramatta are forced to fill many places in the top 25 with players who may not make the top 25 at other clubs. It is difficult to compete against clubs who have representative level players occupying 13 of the top 17 places (hello Roosters). Then again, the NRL's official salary cap document provides ready made excuses for how certain clubs can stay under the cap. How ridiculous is it when the official governing body has the reasons that you can sign certain players for less than people think in their own documents!

  It can't be Kelly otherwise he would be playing this week. I'm pretty sure Alvaro got special dispensation to playso he is not top 25 either. Faraimo was dropped due to 2nd tier issues so he isn't top 25 either. Which means there are a fewplayers in our top 25 (getting paid good coin) that are not first grade quality. That is our fault for signing them to big contracts.

  I think that you've included players not in the top 25 there. Eg Faraimo and Alvaro. I would also see Pauli in the top 25. This is the point. We are speculating.

  I think Edwards, Matterson and Pauli should be in the Top 25 instead of Faraimo, Folau and Kelly but in saying this I also thought Fa'aoso was on a small contract also.

So Rusty is rumoured to give a few players $1m bonus for winning the GF - can anyone confirm or deny this?
And it is not part of the cap
But we pay a young players tuition fees and it is part of the cap?

  Easy to cover up any payments with private ownership- they have no powers to check players private bank accounts, tax records, rustys private records and more importantly can't check companies with links to rusty.
