This is our run home  , We are on 16 points , the way i see it we must win at the very least 8 games for a possible top 4 spot , 6 games for a top 8 spot . We have no byes left .

Where in the top 8 do you feel we will end up ?
My guess  would be 3rd place  , i feel we may get the 8 wins ., id like the final 2 games to get that winning feeling before the semis .

Your thoughts .

    • I also think we will finish in the top 6, with wins against the warriors and cowboys, dogs, broncos, and the tigers will get us 30 points that should be enough
  • Guys, this is PARRA were talking about.

there is no point trying to predict who we might/might not beat, or how much games we might win as this procedure has been rendered useless on many occasions in past seasons.

We literally have to take it week by week AND PRAY that we win that game :)
    • well said mate........i agree totally
  • I'm quite confident we'll finish second and then we'll go on to meet the Dragons in the grand final. To me, those two teams are head and shoulders above every body else in the competition. I think that Melbourne game will reflect the side's turning point for the season and they will go on with it from here and indeed it would not surprise me if we go through the rest of the season undefeated or only losing a game or two.
    • Whilst there are danger games for us, we should majority of these games and finish top 4. Would love to play the chokers in a Grand Final with the experience of last year behind us. I like teams to hit their roll from round 20 onwards. Momentum is huge and as long as we get an injury free run we should make that mark.

However, no easy game in the NRL and YOU must turn up to play each week regardless of the opposition. The two losses to the sharks is testament to that.......
    • I agree 1Eyed.......the Eels that played the Storm (and smashed them) are the best side in the NRL........I was amazed

but they have to bring it each week......and I think they will.......
    • With you 1Eyed.
St George - Parra GF is a highly likely senario.
However there are a couple of teams that could upset the apple cart along the way.
As long as we can produce consistency and a will to win then 2nd is fine.
On our season so far we will do well to finish 6 and from there it will be tough.
  • We could end up anywhere. team is starting to grind a little to which it wasn't doing last year. Potentially we could be a 30% better side than last year if everything lines up nicely.
  • Not a particularly difficult run home although it is always hard to predict what parramatta are going to turn up with. As I posted a couple of weeks ago it will be interesting to see how we go against teams like Newcastle, the Warriors and the Roosters who have been inconsistent like us.

I don't know how some of you guys are comparing us with ST George on what we have seen this year so far.

My gut feeling is that we are heading in the right direction and should win at least 7 or 8 of those matches to give us a shot in the semis.
    • Michael - both Parra and St G have had some shocking games this year - unfortunately we have had many more than them.
On our day the Eels could beat any team in the comp.
IF(?) we can find consistency and a will to win then an Eels - St G GF is a highly likely scenario
