Hi guys and gals
Just having a look on Zerotackle and had a bit of a count up, we have 19 players off contract at the end of this year and only 17 for next year. With not knowing who is in the top 25 i have done some basic sums for our cap.
Im guessing the 17 signed for 2017 are in the Top 25, leaving 8 vacancies in the cap. With Choc being on 800k, Norman, 500k, IDG 200k and another 5 @ 100k each that gives us space for roughly $2m.
With the $2m im guessing there will be a few resignings and upgrades. But it doesnt leave us much really. I am guessing/ hoping for Hayne but I guess he will be comanding $1m+ and the rumoured 800k for Norman it leaves us about 200k plus whatever the cap rises by next year to fit in another 6 players into the top 25.
So looking a bit bleak for Hayne + Norman + a couple of big boppers which we really need.
Anyways up you mighty Eels bring on the Titans

we have no dough!!!! lean times ahead for our beloved club.....
we need BA to pull a Claudio Ranieri type of season !!!!
hayne, 1mill, segs, 400k, moa 300k and paul vaughan 300k
So you wouldn't resign Norman
No thanks to hayne time to move on people....
Look at it this way, he hasn't been hit for the last two years, yeah he is 28 years old but has a 26 year old footy body
My friend and I would like you to explain some of the terms you are using
As a parra support I have never heard of contract before - what is that? I asked some of the Pommy footy players who had actually played footy at Parra (at least that's what they said but I don't remember seeing all of them play) and they did not know either.
My friend is a Broncos supporter and was wondering what cap is, they don't wear caps to play footy at the Broncos and he thinks it must be a daft NSW idea
He has stated honestly, how many
times now! That the 1st club that
He would go to play for is the Eels.
He would not demand 1million
bucks neither Haynes is his own
man and has a lot of respect for
Brad for allowing him to go and
search for his dream whilst the
offer to play for the 49er's still was
available.
Hayne is a very honorable man
with Alot of talent and skills.
If for some unknown reason?
(Can only pray it never happens",)
Haynes doesn't play for the Eels?
Yes he will demand heaps!
But I can't see that happening as
Brad has treated Hayne like a
son, Everyone has stated that.
Also Hayne don't forget, as he
Is one that enjoys making Dick
heads out of the Media love his
work off the field as well.
Parramum... Cheers!
