One thing I have noticed that we do need to fix is our passing game. By this I am meaning the passes themselves look slow and balloon like when going from player to player. They look lofted and seem to just float instead of spiral and get to the recipient quick like a Cronk or Cam Smith pass. Teams beat us on the fringes with great passes that a hard and fast.
You can definitely beat a man with a good hard pass which can put you on the front foot and add pressure. Sometimes it seems that whoever is at dummy half isnt providing good service with a nice crisp pass.
Maybe Im looking into it too much but especially last night when Ma'u nearly broke the line 3 times, the passes couldve been better and also with our second phase play, yes we can offload a ball but the actual ball movement seems slow and cumbersome. Especially form Seffa who is suppose to be our main ball playing forward. But it isnt just him our whole team seem like they just cant pass well anymore.
