5 games left at Pirtek Stadium. EVER. After that it will be no more. Our team has never needed Pirtek to be a fortress more than now, starting Friday night.
The final 5 at Pirtek are simply must win to achieve 12/15. Win all 5 and we need 7/10. Very doable with our away games (Knights/Titans/Tigers/Panthers/NZ to name a few).
BUT really, how do we want to leave Pirtek? Will it be remembered fondly for the incredible atmosphere which helped the Eels make the finals from a seemingly impossible position? Or will it fade into nothing on the back of small crowds? Every game is virtually a finals game from now. We can't even think about what it would be like if we are out of contention. We MUST support the team through this tough situation.
The choice is OURS. Will we make that extra effort to get there to lift our team like NEVER before, when they NEED it most? They will give this a shake. This group including BA has the fighting spirit the jersey should epitomise. But do the fans TRULY BELIEVE in them? Honestly, do you?
Let's show it. Get off work that bit early, forget the weather, the time of the game and those other common excuses. How can we expect the team to give it their all each week after having their season put on life support, if the fans aren't willing to do a bit extra?
We have an opportunity to create something special. It would easily eclipse 2009 if we MADE the finals. We win our 5 LAST, EVER games at home, we can do it. ANZ is the home over the next 2 years. This is our last chance to come to a true home game for nearly 3 years. It's possible we'll never see some of the current players & BA set foot on Parra soil again come 2020 (hopefully this isn't the case!)
MAKE YOUR MARK. We've talked enough, the time is for action. It starts this Friday and continues on Monday the 23rd against the Storm. Forget that it's a work night Monday, we need to win, we need all of us Eels fan to show up & get the boys home. We should get 15K to Pirtek at a minimum each game. It's 5 days of our lives. Surely we can go that extra effort for our players, knowing they have done so for us over the pre-season, the first 9 weeks, and the next 15 games? And hasn't it showed so far!

The last 5 ever at the stadium as we know it. It will be a completely different look when rebuilt. This stadium has not changed a great deal since it opened. Extra seats on the hill and some internal renovations.
