Our halves doing way too much defense

Other teams seem to be running fowards at our halves all the time which gets them tired which in turn may be leading to the poor decisions.They are both more than capable of tackling but it sort of blunts our attack,Soward moves to the far wing in defence as does Thurston,Lockyer had Carroll to watch over him.If fowards are directing their attack at our halves is it feasible to put a heavy hitter out there as it would be a predictable line to cover for big hits.The likes of Tahu and Horo,Fui and lately Smith seems to pull off a couple of humdingers.I know if they miss it could create an overlap but if timed correctly the word would get out not to apply this tactic of running at our halves anymore.The cheaper option would be to follow other teams and push the halves to the side,but i guess that is where our defense lacks alot anyway.Anyway a big hit on any opposing player can lift any teams morale as it shows a chink or flaw that can be exposed.A specialist hitter has to be able to float any side and track the big boppers,must have great timing and be friggin fit here is the kicker the ability to shift bodyweight from a standing stance very reminiscent to Sonny Bill Williams.It is a natural skill which i think Horo has and when applied is capable of turning games.I understand that Hindy can tackle all day if asked and that would not stop but if we could chuck a couple of bell ringers in there i wouldnt complain.
