Our Flegg verses Sharkies at Kellyville

Halftime score sees us leading 12-4.

After a huge run thru the middle in the opening set our edge forward Chris Petrus ran 60 yards to get close to the tryline. We spun the ball wide for our winger to go over..and Lynn missed the kick 4nil

In the 7th minute De Stradis scored also out wide. Lynn converted from the sideline 10nil.

27th min Sharks winger scores out wide kick misses 10-4

We made few mistakes in the opening 20 minutes, unusual for us, and in the 28th minute Petrus was heading once more and looked a good chance but was pulled down by a high shot...Penalty in front 12-4 and halftime.

Chris Petrus looks great with strong hit-ups and good defense. Like him.

Matthew Hunter is controlling the show and we made a big mistake not to keep him.

The only thing I dont like so far is after going ahead, we've relaxed and our line speed in defense is non-existent and is a big worry.

  • Could, just could, Petrus get a look in for PNG this summer? I know he's only 18.

    • he is in the Australian school boy team so I doubt

      • The kid can play  ended up a very good win

  • No cause to worry final score, us 46-16, after our backs had a party in the 2nd half.

Missed the opening 15 mins of th e 2nd half and at that point we led 24-4.

All our backs were great and Lynn stood out leading the team and had a great game.

Lynn, the De Stradis brothers, Alameddine and Chis Petrus were standouts.

    • Yes as you say he may be too young just yet but he's an exciting prospect EA.

      • In cup we're infront 16-6 at halftime. Versus the Jets.

Making plenty of ground thru the midde, with Twidle..Lorenzo..Volk..Samrani and Funa-Luta showing out. We're very comfortable so far.

        • We held on to win 30-28 courtesy of a sideline conversion from Twidle who had missed 3 kicks already. But this time he stood up and converted to get the win. Some of our best were Twidle, Samrani, Dunster and Funa-Luta. Is our culture changing, I'm seeing us come from behind to win regularly of late.

          • Starting to see signs from dunster, wonder if Ryles gives him a go in next few weeks

            • I was there also and in answer to your question regarding Dunster in short NO

              • Damn just not good enough for nrl ?? Sad story

Surely we can identify 2 x 18-20 Year old forwards that will potentially play Origin and offer them $500k a season each ?"
