After a huge run thru the middle in the opening set our edge forward Chris Petrus ran 60 yards to get close to the tryline. We spun the ball wide for our winger to go over..and Lynn missed the kick 4nil
In the 7th minute De Stradis scored also out wide. Lynn converted from the sideline 10nil.

We made few mistakes in the opening 20 minutes, unusual for us, and in the 28th minute Petrus was heading once more and looked a good chance but was pulled down by a high shot...Penalty in front 12-4 and halftime.
Chris Petrus looks great with strong hit-ups and good defense. Like him.
Matthew Hunter is controlling the show and we made a big mistake not to keep him.
The only thing I dont like so far is after going ahead, we've relaxed and our line speed in defense is non-existent and is a big worry.

Our club is going ahead in leaps and bounds . Jersey flegg , cup top 4. Lots of sg ball players making huge impact in the higher grades .
Parra has to lock in Petrus on a ( year deal . This guy is special . He hits in defence so hard and has a great technique . Then you see his running game and I will say it now . Nrl .
Petrus is a fucking gun. As you say our pathways are killing it. Cup and JF having a great year and they have dealt with plenty of unavailable players
What's happened to max popo? Was all the talk at the start of the year.
Max got injured in early stages of Sg Ball grand final . Only been back month I think . Max is a very good footballer but is he a point of difference player to get him into the NRL . Not at this stage .
Yea he has already worked his way into the starting side in JF. He will probably play cup at some point next year. I cant wait for Petrus to come in over take Tuilagi. Tuilagi defensive work and lateral movement is putrid. Petrus has Tuilagi attacking upside but defensively is so much better.
