Our bench has been very impressive each game but tonight I think they were the difference as the Manly starting forward pack were winning the ruck against our starting forwards. In particular I was very impressive with Terepo who ran the most metres of our forwards and his leg speed and power was very good. I also thought Alvaro looked very good again and he could be the player to replace Paulo next year.

Junior is the pick of them all though and will be hard to replace.
One thing I thought was fairly noticeable in last night's game was how quiet Junior was. He certainly didn't have the same dominance over Manly he has had in the previous couple of weeks over opposition forwards. I suppose he can't be running rampant every week. Any word on him going off, was it concussion or some sort of injury - didn't seem to be too much in it?
Junior's game and the shocking refereeing decisions seemed to be the main two factors in having to graft out a win. I'm pleased we had to overcome a few set backs and still managed to get the job done - very pleasing.
Funny thought Junior had a poor game last nite.
150% IDG deserves his spot on the bench, i was a bit negative at the start of the year to run with him on the bench BUT what he brings to the team when he comes on is excellent defence and brilliant line speed.
