Now that Eric Grothe has retired and Timana Tahu all but gone our backline has been delt a severe blow i do think we will end up with Chris Hicks and Paul Whiatura though and i think thats a good thing so i ask if you were our coach for 2011 how would you line up positions 1-7 this is what i would go with:

2. Luke Burt
3. Paul Whiatura
4. Joel Reddy
5. Chris Hicks
6. Daniel Mortimer
7. Jeff Robson
Mortimer and Robson have been all but confirmed as our halves but if Murray is not banned from the Nrl i like to see him have a go sooner our later.

You could have say 3. Loko 4. Filga.

I would be staggered if Loko starts the season in the NRL. Realistically Hicks will partner Reddy in the centres, and Walker and Burt will get a wing spot each.

You must be a young fellow Ricky, he has named the forwards in the old style we used to have . If you read the forwards he listed starting from the bottom and work your way up you will see what I mean.Or should I say what Sinbad means ? You really do learne something everyday !

I would have Brad Murray and Chris Hicks around this squad as often as possible to cover for Robson and work with Loko (who needs a chance to grow into first grade). Tom Humble is a starter from the bench to cover hooker and playmaker. It's not a bad backline and remember Robson was a GF halfback! Provided the forwards go forward and grind out the meters, this backline could be anything!
