Yeh but they're playing so poorly it must be getting to the point where Nine is losing audience numbers in Queensland compared to having two NSW teams playing.
Yes, but there is also a lot of Sydney ex pats who are enjoying the Broncos getting pumped on a weekly basis.
What a lot of Sydneysiders don't understand is the cultural difference between Sydney fans & Brisbane fans. Your typical Sydneysider supports his club first, the Blues second, but in Qld, especially Brisbane, they are QLD'ers first, Broncos / Titans / Cowboys fans second. Broncos fans don't hate the Cowboys or Titans, and vice versa because they are QLD'ers first & foremost.
The rivalry between the 3 QLD clubs is more of a friendly rivalry, nothing like the Eels against the Dogs or Manly or the Panthers. You typically see as many, if not more Qld Origin jerseys at a Broncos game than you see Broncos jerseys.
So for many QLD'ers, they'll always watch the Broncos because they are QLD'ers, not because they are Broncos fans.
Brett, my little brother, who has worked in the mining industry in QLD for 10-15 years, tells a similar story to yours. Hence why I say wouldn't it be bloody awesome if Broncos, Cowboys and Titans made you the bottom 3?!

I got 8 out of 8 last week but a couple of games this week could definitely go either way
